The City of Covington Parks and Recreation is announcing the Santa Run 5K. The event will be held on Sunday, November 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jackson River Sports Complex. You may pre-register by calling (540) 965-6360 or completing the form on the City of Covington’s Website. Registrations received after November 15 are not guaranteed a T-shirt and you may register the day of the event starting at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to walk instead of run are welcome to join as well. For participants in grades 1st through 5th, we have the Gingerbread Sprint. Take a break from shopping and decorating, grab your tennis shoes, and join us to work off some of that turkey and pumpkin pie. Concessions will be available. The cost to participate is $15.00.
